Step Right Up. Let Your Voice Be Heard.
Finally a forum where the little guy or gal CAN make a difference. Here at Buffalo Take a look at the entries and read what they have to offer. What shirt will give you the most bang for your buck? Which is thinking of our children? Of our children's children? They all claim lower taxes, but I'm afraid if you're in NY, you'll owe the same tax on any of these three. So dont be fooled by the yarns they spin. Classic shirts like these will talk out of both sides to get a vote. |

| Drunk for a Penny. Dead Drunk for Two.
Their tagline said it all. Most Buffalonians are familiar with Dug's Dive, the popular saloon from the early Buffalo days that sat on the Erie Canal. If not, then look it up as this aint about that twink bar. This is all about Palmer's Inn, the rough-n-tumble tavern established in 1793 down the street from Dug's (or Doug's) where the real drinkers hung out. It ain't around today so don't go looking for it. Known more for its bison piss beer than its cleanliness, if you needed a friend, look elsewhere pal. As for Buffalo, we once had more taverns per capita than any city in the US. We've still got our fair share but I tend to consider us narely a dry town nowadays. |
The City of Good Neighbors
Once known as the City of Good Neighbors, this self-dubbed moniker still hangs by a thread. Is Buffalo really the city of good neighbors? Well, I suppose we're friendly enough-but the whole lot of us? That's up for debate. A classic typographic design with the "City of Good Neighbors" tag proudly displayed. Rock it with a puff jacket and schuss your way down the slopes in fine fashion. Alright, we're pretty good neighbors...if not a bit too nosey. |
There's a Stiff Wind Ablowin' Yeah, yeah, yeah I know, its actually in Sunny LA, not Buffalo. Whatever, get over it. The Steel Winds windfarm brought in eight turbines that tower over and around the Small Boat Harbor. Are they cool looking? Damn straight. Are they saving us money? Hell, no. Just like the power generated by our great Niagara Falls, somehow we got the big ole shaft-a-roo here too. That might not be entirely true. All I know is my electric bill only goes down when I turn off the lights. |
